My name is Sarah Travers, and I am a board-certified holistic nurse coach and trauma informed breathwork facilitator. I live in rural Maryland on my family’s organic vegetable farm with my husband and two girls. Living so close to my family is like a dream come true.

I have wanted to be a nurse since I was a child. I love caring for people and helping them when they need it most. When the hospital didn’t feel like the right fit anymore, I felt lost as to how I could continue as a nurse. This is when I found nurse coaching. It felt like a gift and an answer to how I could stay in nursing and go on my own adventure.

Since I left the hospital in December 2020, I have been on my own wellness journey, learning how to care for myself and my body. It has had its ups and downs, but I have learned more about myself and realized that I don’t have to know all the answers. I need to follow my heart and what my body asks for, slow down, and listen more. I love learning from the coaches I have worked with. It has helped me grow in ways I never expected. In July 2021, I opened Green Perspective Coaching.

I love supporting people as they transform their health, relationships, careers, and family lives. My goal in coaching is to help you understand the changes you want to make in your life and to help you find the power and support to realize your dreams. I love helping clients find ways to reconnect to their body and soul. My clients have been able to speak up for themselves at work and with their partners at home, set boundaries, prioritize their own health, and show up for themselves in a full and enriching way.

As we start working together, we will create space to be vulnerable and become comfortable and confident in your health, lifestyle decisions, and body. We will find ways to slow down and think deeply and critically about the “why” behind your goals. We will work at your own pace so you can uncover ways to create deep and lasting change and transformation in your life. Together, we will learn what you need to explore in order to create opportunities for your health and wellness to be priorities in your life. It is truly exciting to learn what powerful beings we are and how that power from within can motivate our best health choices.
